Welcome to VH Photography – thanks so much for dropping by!
I’m a specialist newborn & baby photographer based just outside Halifax in beautiful West Yorkshire. Offering studio or on-location photoshoots, my aim is to create beautiful, natural images of your baby that will last forever – it’s probably the only investment you’ll make as a new parent that they won’t outgrow.
I also offer on-location maternity and family shoots, so I have a session to suit families of all ages. Please have a look around, enjoy the images, and contact me to book or if you have any questions.

I offer a range of photography sessions to suit the different stages of your family life.
My newborn photography studio is situated just a short drive from Halifax town centre, and is suitable for babies and their families until they learn to walk.
Once your baby is on their feet, I offer outdoor family photography at beautiful locations all over Yorkshire – and I’m happy to travel further afield if there’s somewhere special to you for your shoot.

Your baby’s safety and comfort is my absolute number one priority. Before even going into business as a professional newborn photographer in Yorkshire, I undertook safety and posing training from one of the UK’s leading newborn trainers. Now, having photographed hundreds of babies, I still continually expand and refresh my knowledge. I’m proud to hold a certification from the Academy of Newborn Photography, and be a Qualified member of the Guild of Newborn and Baby Photographers. The Academy of Newborn Photography Certificate required me to undertake specific safety and infant first aid training.
